IS TEETH WHITENING FOR EVERYONE?

My Davinci whitening provides great results for anyone who wants whiter, brighter teeth. This includes people with teeth that have been stained by tobacco, foods, beverages, and discoloration from aging. Tetracycline and fluoride staining cannot be removed completely, typically most people see great results with this type of staining. It is safe for lactating and pregnant women.

WILL IT WHITEN MY EXISTING DENTAL WORK?

Davinci whitening process will remove stains from crowns, fillings, veneers, etc. but will not lighten them beyond their original color. The products will not damage existing dental work. If you have concerns please speak with your dental provider previous to scheduling.

HOW WHITE WILL MY TEETH GET?

Everyone's teeth is different and will respond differently. Your results will depend on how porous your teeth are, current color, and treatment time. For the ultimate whitening effect, you may choose up to three 20 minute applications in a single whitening session. Most people see anywhere from 4-14 shades whiter!

HOW LONG WILL THE WHITENING LAST?

This varies from person to person and depends on your diet and oral hygiene. Periodic touch up treatments are recommended and for extended long term results, you may choose to use the Home Care Maintenance Kit and/or touch up pen. These are available for additional cost.

WILL MY TEETH FEEL SENSITIVE?

Most clients experience no sensitivity, however everyone's sensitivity level varies. A small percentage may feel sensitivity, but it is typically minor and gone within 24 hours. If you have concerns please inquire about remineralizing/desensitizing gel treatment that can be applied previous to your whitening.

Pre Whitening Instructions:

 To avoid possible gum irritation, do not brush your teeth the day of your whitening appointment. You may rinse with mouth wash.
It is recommended that you eat prior to your appointment.
You will not be able to eat or drink anything but water for at least 2 hours after your whitening.
Drink plenty of water previous to your whitening appointment!

Drinking Water for the next 2 hours
Do not smoke or chew tobacco for at least 2 hours.
Avoid any dark colored food or beverages for at least 24 hours. No coffee, tea, soda, cool-aid, red wine, tomato sauces, red meat, dark colored vegetables, or anything with heavy color for at least 24 hours. (Ask me about my teeth sealant service so you can return to normal food and beverage after 2 hours following your appointment)
YES- water, white wine, white chicken, pork, turkey, noodles, white sauce, white cheese, potatoes, etc. after two hours.
Next 48 hours: brush very gently with a white toothpaste, DO NOT BRUSH GUMS, avoid using a whitening or baking soda toothpaste.
Any sensitivity is typically gone within 24 hours. You may choose to purchase the Davinci desensitizing gel or take a mild pain reliever.
Use your home maintenance kit and/or whitening pen to help maintain your smile! (can be purchased separately, not included)
